New Delhi: National Testing Agency, NTA would be conducting the Jawaharlal Nehru University, JNU Entrance Test 2020 today that is from October 5 to 8, 2020. The exam would be conducted across 358 centres for 121 cities across the country for which 2,34,048 candidates have registered. Of them, 56, 393 will be taking the test on the first day, 72, 455 on the second, 38, 810 on the third and 66, 390 on the last day.

JNUEE 2020 was earlier scheduled to be conducted from May 11-14, 2020 but later was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic outbreak and the subsequent lockdown across the country enforced by the Government of India.

A control room has been opened with two national coordinators, 121 city coordinators and 80 observers for the exams and their orientation process has been started, NTA said in a statement. It has also conducted a third-party audit of the examination centres and installed live CCTV surveillance to curb malpractices, it said.

More than 5800 cameras have been installed by the agency and to deter candidates from indulging in cheating and other malpractices 1600 jammers have been put in place across all the centres.
