The record of hitting most sixes in IPL is currently in the name of explosive batsman Chris Gayle. Gayle has hit 357 runs in 141 innings of 142 matches in IPL. He is followed by AB de Villiers with 239 sixes in 169 matches and Rohit Sharma at number three with 230 sixes in 215 matches.
