JP Nadda Slams Rahul Gandhi: Ready For Discussion In Parliament, Will Give Fitting Reply

Union Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader JP Nadda has launched a scathing counter-attack against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi following the latter's press conference. Nadda accused Gandhi of intentionally spreading lies and attempting to create an atmosphere of anarchy within the country. The Allegations by Rahul Gandhi

The confrontation began after a press conference held by Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. During the briefing, Rahul Gandhi had raised serious questions regarding the conduct of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Gandhi stated that the issue wasn't merely about the Home Minister delivering a speech on general topics in Parliament. He insisted that Amit Shah must clarify who gave the orders to fire upon the youth in Delhi. Gandhi alleged that pellet guns were used and students were beaten with sticks embedded with nails. He questioned whether the Home Minister had ordered these actions, suggesting that if he did, he's guilty of firing on children, and if he was unaware, he's incompetent. In either scenario, Gandhi demanded that the Home Minister should step down from his position, stating that this was the core subject of the required discussion.

JP Nadda Rebuttal and Narrative Shift

Responding to these claims, JP Nadda stated that Rahul Gandhi changes his narrative every day, both in the Parliament and in the national discourse. Nadda pointed out that Gandhi's primary objective isn't to engage in a constructive dialogue but to foster chaos. According to Nadda, at the beginning of the session, the opposition demanded a discussion on NEET. However, once the government agreed to discuss NEET, they shifted their focus to the Ram Mandir Trust issue. Following that, they began insisting that the Home Minister should give a statement regarding the incident at Jantar Mantar. Nadda argued that this constant shifting of goalposts proves that the opposition's intention is merely to stall the functioning of the House.

Accusations of Obstructing Parliament

JP Nadda further alleged that Rahul Gandhi doesn't want the Parliament to function. He noted that the opposition has been obstructing the proceedings for the last 15 days. Nadda highlighted the irony that while they've been disrupting the House, they're simultaneously demanding a discussion on the Jantar Mantar issue. He stated that today, when it was decided that a discussion on the Jantar Mantar issue would indeed take place, Rahul Gandhi began misleading the public and the nation with false information. Nadda categorically denied the claims made by Gandhi, stating that no firing incident took place at Jantar Mantar and no such orders were ever issued.

The Jharkhand Counter-Attack

In a sharp counter-offensive, JP Nadda questioned Rahul Gandhi's silence on issues in states where the Congress is part of the government. He asked whether Gandhi couldn't hear the voices of students in Jharkhand. Nadda mentioned that according to the information he received, barbed wire fencing was installed there at the behest of the current administration, of which the Congress is a significant part. He criticized the dual standards of the Congress party, accusing them of practicing negative politics and failing to fulfill the role of a responsible opposition. Nadda stated that such behavior does nothing for the progress or the future of the country and condemned the opposition's approach in strong terms.

Concluding his statement, JP Nadda issued a direct challenge to Rahul Gandhi to stop running away from the discussion. He reiterated that the government is ready to answer every question and address every issue within the House, as evidenced by their past track record.
