Jammu and Kashmir | Three terrorists have been put to sleep by security forces in an encounter that started yesterday in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama. In the morning, the police of Kashmir Zone has given information about this by tweeting. All the terrorists killed were associated with Lashkar. One of them has been identified. Let us tell you that a terrorist was killed late last evening.

J&K Police in its tweet early this morning said, "Two more terrorists killed today. Three have died. Incriminating material including arms and ammunition have been recovered.

IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said, "The three terrorists killed are locals, who are associated with the terrorist organization Lashkar. One of them has been identified as Junaid Shirgojri. He had killed our colleague Shaheed Riyaz Ahmed on May 13.

Earlier i.e. yesterday, on the basis of strong information that a terrorist was hiding in Khandipura area of ​​Kulgam, the security forces had launched a search operation. He said that during this, the hiding terrorist started firing indiscriminately on the security forces and the terrorist was killed in retaliation by the security forces. The spokesman said that the security forces first shifted people from around the encounter site to safer places.

He said that the terrorist killed in the encounter has been identified as Rasik Ahmed Ghani, a member of the banned terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen and a resident of Kulgam whose body was recovered from the encounter site. The spokesman said that as per police records, the slain terrorist was involved in several terrorist incidents, including attacks on police and other security forces.

Incriminating material, arms and ammunition along with AK 303 rifle, 23 cartridges, one pistol and 31 cartridges and one hand grenade were recovered from the encounter site. The spokesperson said that all the recovered items have been taken on the case record for further investigation.
