Arvind Kejriwal News: Political activities have intensified before the counting of votes for the assembly elections in Delhi. The round of allegations and counter-allegations continues between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Amid speculations of 'Operation Lotus', AAP has instructed party candidates to remain alert.

Kejriwal called an emergency meeting

The ruling AAP has called an important meeting on Friday, being cautious about possible political manipulation. This meeting will be held at 11:30 am at the residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, in which all the candidates have been invited. The main objective of this meeting is to discuss the party's strategy before the counting of votes and to alert the candidates about possible temptations.

AAP's serious allegations: 'Conspiracy to break the candidates'

Senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh accused the BJP and said that seven candidates of his party are being tempted before the election results. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also reiterated these allegations and said that 16 AAP candidates have been lured by BJP with Rs 15 crore each and ministerial posts.

Kejriwal posted on 'X' (formerly Twitter), "Some agencies are showing that BJP is getting more than 55 seats, but in the last two hours, 16 of our candidates have received calls, in which they have been offered Rs 15 crore each and ministerial posts to join BJP. If BJP is getting so many seats, then why are efforts being made to break our candidates?"

BJP denies AAP's allegations

BJP has strongly reacted to these allegations calling them baseless. Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said that AAP is making baseless allegations in view of its possible defeat. He said, "If Sanjay Singh and Arvind Kejriwal have any proof then present it, otherwise they should apologize for their statement. If this does not happen, legal action will be taken."

Atishi's statement from Kalkaji

Senior AAP leader and candidate from Kalkaji assembly seat Atishi also posted on 'X' and questioned BJP, "If BJP is getting more than 50 seats, why are they trying to break our candidates?"
