4. Agni Purana says that during Krishna Paksha in Bhadrapada month, Lord Krishna appeared in the midnight on Ashtami Tithi along with Rohini Nakshatra. That is why his birth anniversary is celebrated on this Ashtami.

5. According to Devi Bhagwat Purana, on the Ashtami date of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month, Rohini Nakshatra and Taurus ascendant, Bhagwati was born in the form of a Supreme Person from the womb of Devaki.

6. It is written in Harivansh Purana that at the time of birth of Lord Krishna there was Abhijit Nakshatra, Jayanti Yoga and Vijay Muhurta.
