The company announced on Thursday that in the festive season, customers will be provided home loan at the lowest interest rate of 6.66 percent. Any customer can take a home loan of up to Rs 2 crore at this rate of interest. Let us tell you that in July 2021, the company had announced that new customers can take a home loan of up to Rs 50 lakh at an interest rate of 6.66 percent. The company has now increased the loan amount to four times.

Which customers will get home loan?

LIC Housing said that under the new offer, customers with CIBIL score of 700 or more will be provided home loans at affordable interest rates. Salaried employees, professionals and self-employed earners can also take advantage of this facility. The company said that interest at the rate of 6.66 percent will be charged on all home loans up to Rs 2 crore sanctioned between September 22 and November 30, 2021. Customers will get the first installment before 31 December 2021.

What will be the benefit of increasing the loan amount?

LIC Housing Finance Managing Director and CEO Y. Viswanath Gaur said that earlier, 6.66 percent interest rate was being charged on home loans up to Rs 50 lakh. Now the loan amount has been increased four times. The company has taken this step to provide home loan to more and more people at affordable rates. Also, with this move, customers can also buy a bigger and better house for themselves.

Will there be a waiver in processing fee?

This company, which provides loans to buy a house, has also announced a discount of 0.25 percent of the loan amount in the processing fee. However, under this, customers will get a maximum discount of up to Rs 10,000. Along with this, customers coming under the pension benefit scheme will also get exemption from 6 EMIs.
