Lockdown / Lockdown extended till July 19 with some concessions in Haryana, know what will be open, what will remain closed

Chandigarh. The Haryana government has extended the ongoing lockdown period in the state till July 19 to deal with Kovid-19. However, the government has announced some relaxations for others including students. According to the order issued by Chief Secretary Vijay Vardhan on the basis of the powers conferred under the Disaster Management Act, 2005, 'Pandemic Alert - Safe Haryana' is further extended for one more week. In Haryana, this period is extended from 5 am on July 12 to 5 am on July 19.

However, the state government has allowed many other exemptions. As per the order, universities and colleges have been permitted to call students for doubt resolution, practical classes in laboratories, practical examinations, offline examinations, etc., but they will have to strictly follow the COVID-19 protocol. According to the order, university hostels will be opened only for the students appearing in the examinations.

These rules will be applicable for weddings and funerals

According to the Haryana government, a maximum of 100 people will be allowed in gatherings for weddings and funerals during the lockdown. Whereas a maximum gathering of 200 people has been allowed in open spaces.

Not only this, permission has also been given to open spas from 6 am to 8 pm with 50 percent capacity. Whereas in the state of Haryana, cinema halls will also be able to operate with 50 percent capacity. At the same time, the state government has also given permission to open swimming pool, training center, coaching center, library and training institute, but in all these it is necessary to follow the rules of Corona. Now ITI institutes can also be opened in the state.

At the same time, Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij told the people that the threat of corona is not over yet. To avoid this, it is in everyone's good to follow the rules. With this, Vij said that the police have been instructed to cut the challans of those who do not apply masks.
