Rajasthan News: Heart-wrenching news of the accident has come out from Kota city of Rajasthan. About 14 children got burnt due to electric shock during the Shiva procession on the occasion of Mahashivratri in Kota city. All the children were immediately admitted to MBS Hospital in Kota. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla is an MP from Kota. He has also reached the hospital to know the condition of the children. He has expressed grief over this accident.

If needed, will be referred to Jaipur – Om Birla

Lok Sabha Speaker and Kota MP Om Birla has reached the hospital to see the children who were electrocuted. He has expressed grief over this accident and assured all possible help to the injured children. Om Birla has instructed the doctors of the hospital to provide proper treatment to the injured. He has said that if needed, the injured children will also be referred to Jaipur.

Family members beat up the organizers

Every year a Shiva procession is organized by the people of the locality in Kali Basti. Many children had come alone to this program. After the incident, there was chaos on the spot and people of the locality ran towards the hospital with children in their arms. Meanwhile, when the family members of the injured children came to know about the accident, they reached the hospital. There they beat up the organisers.

At the same time, IG Ravidutt Gaur said that one child suffered 70 percent burns and the other 50 percent. The remaining children sustained 10 percent burns. The age of all is between 9 to 16 years.

On receiving information about the incident, the Lok Sabha Speaker reached the hospital. He said- It is a sad incident. This incident will be investigated and everyone is busy treating the children. One kid is serious. If there is a need for referral, we will also refer you, but the best treatment will be provided here.
