At a meeting on Sunday, Mamata Banerjee said, "The central government is not paying our MNREGA dues. Today GST is the only tax. The central government takes all the tax and is not giving our share, which they are taking from here. I am going to Delhi and have asked for time from PM Modi. He said that if you do not give our money then leave the chair. He said that because of the Central Government, many people of West Bengal have been deprived of social welfare schemes. If If the Central Government had given the money on time, people could have been connected to social schemes, but the Central Government is deliberately negligent in this and hence this is not happening.

CM Mamata Banerjee has said that we and our government are standing with the workers and laborers on every front, but the central government is not giving us our dues. Due to this, the laborers working here are not even getting money. The central government is stopping the funds for the schemes running in the state. At the same time, the central government is continuously denying Mamata Banerjee's allegations. The Center says that corruption is being done in the name of Central schemes in West Bengal.
