Kolkata. Mamta Banerjee expanded her cabinet on Monday in West Bengal Assembly Election. On Monday, 43 leaders of the ruling Trinamool Congress were sworn in as ministers. In the 43-member cabinet, many new faces have got a chance, including former finance minister Amit Mitra and former cricketer Manoj Tiwari. According to the information received, this team of Mamta Banerjee consists of 25 old and 18 new faces. Nine of these 43 MLAs were sworn in as Ministers of State. Amit Mitra and two other MLAs were sworn in virtually. Mitra's health is not good.

At Raj Bhavan, Governor Jagdeep Dhankad led these new MLAs to the ministerial post in Throne Hall at 10.45 am. With this, the first meeting of the cabinet of the newly elected government will be held at 3 pm. Mamta Banerjee has returned to the new cabinet as ministers Subrata Mukherjee, Partha Chatterjee, Firhad Hakim, Arup Vishwas, Sujit Bose, Chandrima Bhattacharya and Shashi Panja as ministers. Apart from this, Manas Bhuiyan also got a place in the cabinet team. He was a Rajya Sabha MP and contested assembly elections this time.

Mamta's hand command for the third time

Let me tell you that Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee was sworn in as the Chief Minister of West Bengal on Wednesday for the third consecutive time after a landslide victory in the state assembly elections in West Bengal. Governor Jagdeep Dhankar administered the oath of office and secrecy to him at a simple ceremony held at Raj Bhavan amidst the growing outbreak of Kovid-19.
