A massive bomb exploded in Kabul, Afghanistan, on Sunday, in which several civilians were killed. This explosion happened at the gate of a mosque. A Taliban spokesman has given this information. So far no organization has claimed responsibility for the attack, but it is believed that this attack has been done by ISIS-K Attacks i.e. Islamic State-Khorasan. It is the Afghanistan branch of the global terrorist organization Islamic State. ISIS is considered a staunch enemy of the Taliban. Which is continuously carrying out attacks against the Taliban.

According to media reports, a senior Taliban official told that a bomb exploded outside a mosque in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. A large number of civilians have been killed in this. Spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid tweeted that the bombing took place at the entrance gate of Idgah Mosque in Kabul. However, the Taliban government has not told anything about how many people have been killed in the attack.

Firing took place after the bomb exploded

Zabiullah is also a deputy minister in the Ministry of Information and Culture in the Mujahid Taliban government. He said that the bomb blast took place at a crowded place on Sunday afternoon. Mujahid said that after lunch today, there was a sudden explosion near the gate of the mosque (Blast Near Kabul Mosque). Since there was a lot of people there at that time, so civilians have also died. Many people have been injured. According to media reports, firing also took place after the bomb blast outside the mosque.

Taliban targeted

Another report states that Mujahid's mother had died last week. In this connection, people were called to the mosque on Sunday for a condolence meeting (Attack on Taliban). This clearly shows that the Taliban has been targeted in the attack. AFP news agency journalists heard explosions and gunfire in two places in the capital. Ambulances reached the spot and people were taken to the hospital for treatment.
