IND vs ENG: Team India suffered an embarrassing defeat in the World Test Championship against New Zealand. The performance of the Indian team, adorned with the names of big players, was very disappointing. There is also a list one name who failed completely in this series, Jasprit Bumrah. Team India's specialist bowler and match winner Bumrah proved to be a flop against New Zealand.

bumrah flop show

Jasprit Bumrah could not do anything amazing for Team India in the World Test Championship. He did not take a single wicket in both the innings in this final match and that too when the bowlers were getting a lot of help from the pitch and the weather.

There is no repetition in this that Jasprit Bumrah is going through poor form. Now in such a situation, questions are being raised on whether he will get a place in the playing XI for the 5-match Test series against England. Because the Indian team would not want to lose the first series of the second World Test Championship.

Team India has an option for Jasprit Bumrah and it may be that Mohammad Siraj can be included in the team instead of Bumrah.

Mohammad Siraj may get a chance

Mohammad Siraj is in England with Team India. He did not get a chance to play in the World Test Championship, but now it is being speculated that he will play in the England series. Mohammad Siraj had performed brilliantly on the tour of Australia and garnered a lot of accolades. Siraj has all the three things - speed, swing and seam movement. His skill comes out differently with the red ball. He has the ability to take wickets with the new ball as well as in the middle overs. Siraj took 16 wickets in 3 Test matches against Australia and took five wickets in the innings in his debut match itself.

The fight will start from August 4

After the World Test Championship final, the Indian team now has to play five Tests against the senior team in August-September. The first match of the five-match Test series will be held in Nottingham from August 4 to 8. After this, the second Test will be held at Lord's ground in London from 12 to 16 August. The third Test will be played at Leeds from 25 to 29 August and the fourth at The Oval in London from 2 to 6 September. The fifth Test match of the series will be played in Manchester till 10 September.
