America Apollo-11 Mission: In the year 1969, America sent three astronauts to space. All of them had stepped on the surface of the moon during the Apollo-11 mission. One of them was Buzz Aldrin, who married his girlfriend on his 93rd birthday. Aldrin shared pictures with his wife Dr. Anka For on the social media platform Twitter. They married in a small ceremony in Los Angeles, California.

Former Astronaut wrote, 'On my 93rd birthday, I am happy to inform that I and my love Dr. Anka For have got married. We got married in Los Angeles in a small ceremony and we are as excited as eloped Tegeners.

Since being shared, Buzz Aldrin's post has garnered over 22,000 likes and has been viewed by nearly 1.8 million people. In the comment section, many users congratulated the couple and jokingly wrote – both of you would be over the moon.

Buzz Aldrin has been married and divorced three times. He is the only surviving member of the three-member crew of the Apollo 11 mission. Neil Armstrong was the first person to step on the surface of the moon. Buzz Aldrin landed on the surface of the moon 19 minutes after him.

Former Astronaut Buzz Aldrin retired from NASA in 1971 and in 1998 created the non-profit organization ShareSpace Foundation to promote the expansion of crewed space exploration.
