Rajasthan News: Mayor of Jaipur Heritage Municipal Corporation Munesh Gurjar has been suspended. After the arrest of husband Sushil Gurjar, Munesh Gurjar has also been suspended from the post of ward number 43 member. The director of the department Hridesh Kumar issued these orders late on Saturday night. There is discussion in the political circles that apart from the bribery of the husband, the heritage mayor's feud with cabinet minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas has been overshadowed.

Munesh Gurjar is missing since the ACB action and suspension action against Sushil. Now it is being told that Manoj Mudgal, a close councilor of Khachariawas, can be made the deputy mayor. There is talk in political circles that Jaipur Heritage Mayor Munesh Gurjar has had to bear the consequences of long-standing enmity between cabinet minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas and proximity to cabinet minister Mahesh Joshi.

Munesh Gurjar was at home till ACB action

Two days ago, Munesh Gurjar's husband Sushil Gurjar was caught by the ACB taking a bribe of Rs 2 lakh in lieu of making a lease. During the operation, the ACB team also recovered several files and cash worth Rs 40 lakh from the mayor's house. The mayor was present at home during the action.

The ACB action which started at 7:30 pm on Friday evening continued till 4 am on Saturday morning. The ACB team left Munesh Gurjar's house at 4:30 in the morning and after that at around 5:30 Munesh Gurjar went somewhere in his car with the driver. Since then he is missing. At present, the ACB team has taken Munesh Gurjar's husband Sushil Gurjar on remand for 2 days for questioning.

At the same time, the ACB team will now call the suspended Mayor Munesh Gurjar for questioning in the matter of getting the files of the Municipal Corporation home. Sushil Gurjar has accused Manoj Mudgal, a close aide of Minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas, of implicating him. During the appearance in the ACB court, accused Sushil Gurjar said that the conspiracy against him was hatched by Manoj Mudgal, a close councilor of Pratap Singh Khachariawas. Sushil Gurjar said that he was implicated in the bribery case under a conspiracy.

Meanwhile, there is information that preparations are being made to make Manoj Mudgal, a close councilor of Khachariawas, the deputy mayor. Cabinet minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas had a hand in making Munesh Gurjar the heritage mayor. Pratap Singh Khachariawas himself has said this on the public platform. Khachariawas said that under Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's zero tolerance policy, the ACB acted on the complaint and trapped Munesh Gurjar.

On the other hand, if sources are to be believed, later Munesh Gurjar's enmity increased with Khachariawas. Now preparations have almost been made to make councilor Manoj Mudgal, who is considered very close to Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, as deputy mayor. Its formal announcement can also be done soon.
