NATO vs Russia / NATO warns India, China and Brazil, 'There could be a ban on doing business with Russia'

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has warned India, China and Brazil of severe sanctions if they continue to trade with Russia. He said, "Force Putin to peace talks, otherwise there will be heavy consequences." Trump has announced 100% secondary tariffs on Russian exports.

NATO vs Russia: NATO Secretary General Mark Root on Wednesday issued a stern warning to India, Brazil and China. He said that if these countries continue to trade with Russia, very strict sanctions can be imposed on them. Root made this statement after meeting US Congress senators. This warning has come at a time when US President Donald Trump has announced new weapons for Ukraine and said that if a peace agreement is not reached within 50 days, a "draconian" secondary tariff of 100% will be imposed on buyers of Russian exports.

Appeal to force Russia to peace talks

Root told reporters, "My advice to India, China and Brazil is that if you are in Beijing, Delhi or Brazil, you should seriously consider this, because it will have a very heavy impact on you." He further said, "Please call Vladimir Putin and tell him that he has to take the peace talks seriously, otherwise it will have a huge impact on these three countries."

US Republican Senator Thom Tillis praised Trump's move but raised concerns about the 50-day deadline. "I fear Putin may use this time to win the war or create better conditions for a peace agreement," he said. Tillis also added that the violence and territorial occupation by Russia in Ukraine will not be accepted in any way.

Military aid to Ukraine will increase

Rutte also announced that Europe will raise funds to put Ukraine in a stronger position in the peace talks. Also, under Trump's deal, the US will now provide Ukraine with weapons "on a massive scale". This will include not only air defense systems but also missiles and ammunition funded by Europe.

When Rutte was asked about long-range missiles, he said, "It is for both defense and attack. Different types of weapons are being considered." However, he made it clear that the issue has not been discussed in detail with President Trump, and now the matter is under consideration between the Pentagon, NATO's Supreme Allied Commander in Europe and Ukrainian officials.

What will be the impact on India, Brazil and China?

This warning by Root has created a new tension in global diplomacy. India, Brazil and China, which maintain trade relations with Russia, are now in a difficult position. This move by the Trump administration is not only an attempt to put pressure on Russia, but also sends a message to these countries that their policies can have serious consequences at the global level.

Meanwhile, the prospects for peace in the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine are still uncertain. It is clear from the statements of Root and Trump that NATO and the US are now committed to further strengthen Ukraine militarily, so that Ukraine's position can be improved in the peace talks.
