CWG 2022: Nikhat Zareen has done wonders in boxing. Nikhat Zareen has won the gold medal in the women's 48-50 kg weight category in boxing. Nikhat Zareen defeated Carly of Northern Ireland 5-0. This is India's 48th medal in Commonwealth Games 2022 and third gold medal in boxing. Nikhat has won a medal for India in the Commonwealth Games for the first time. India has so far won 48 medals in the Commonwealth Games 2022. This includes 17 gold, 12 silver and 19 bronze medals.
