Many organizations took this decision together

According to the report, Saudi Arabia had approved a quota of 1585 Haj pilgrims from Sri Lanka for the year 2022. However, after discussions by several other parties including the National Haj Committee, Sri Lanka Haj Tour Operators Association and the Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs Department, it was decided that no Muslim from Sri Lanka will perform Haj this time.

The current situation is not good, so will not go

In a letter sent by the All-Ceylon Haj Tour Operators Association and the Haj Tour Operators Association of Sri Lanka to the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs, it has been said that, "In view of the current situation in our country Sri Lanka and the suffering of the people, both the associations The members have decided to skip this year's Hajj. So this year no Muslim from Sri Lanka will go for Haj.

In such a situation, all of us have unanimously decided in the meeting that this time no one from Sri Lanka will go for Haj.
