Noida Twin Tower: Supertech Twin Towers built in Sector-93A of Noida will be demolished today (Sunday) at 2.30 pm. Earlier the administration is on high alert. Meanwhile, many roads of Noida have been restricted for the sake of security. The traffic police has issued a traffic advisory for this. If you live in Noida or around it, then definitely read this news before leaving the house. Otherwise you can get stuck in traffic.

These roads will be completely closed

According to the traffic advisory, some roads of Noida will be closed from 7 am today i.e. on August 28. These routes will be opened after the completion of the demolition work of the Twin Tower.

1- Route from ATS Tiraha to Gejha Fruit / Vegetable Market Tiraha.

2- Double road and service road from Eldico Chowk to Sector 108.

3- Double route from Shramik Kunj Chowk to Sector 92 Ratiram Chowk.

4- Faridabad flyover from Shramik Kunj Chowk to Sector 132.

5- Faridabad flyover from Sector 128 to Shramik Kunj Chowk.

These routes will be diverted

According to the traffic advisory, some roads in Noida have been diverted due to the demolition of the Twin Towers. This diversion will be from 2.14 pm till the situation becomes normal.

1- Traffic going from Noida to Greater Noida/Yamuna Expressway will be diverted from Mahamaya flyover towards Sector-37. This traffic will go towards the destination via City Centre, Sector 71.

2- Traffic going from Noida to Greater Noida/Yamuna Expressway

Filmcity will be diverted from flyover to elevated road. This traffic will go towards the destination via Elevated Road, Sector 60, Sector 71.

3- Traffic going from Noida to Greater Noida/Yamuna Expressway

Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Service Road will be completely closed in front of Sector 82 cut before Faridabad flyover. This traffic will go towards the destination via Gezha Tiraha, Phase-2.

4- Traffic going from Greater Noida towards Noida/Delhi will be diverted from Pari Chowk towards Surajpur. This traffic will go towards the destination via Surajpur, Yamaha, Phase-2 or Bisrakh, Kisan Chowk.

5- Traffic going from Yamuna Expressway/Greater Noida to Noida/Delhi will be diverted from Zero Point to Pari Chowk on the Yamuna Expressway. This traffic will go towards the destination via Pari Chowk, Surajpur, Yamaha, Phase-2 or Bisrakh, Kisan Chowk.

6- Traffic going from Yamuna Expressway/Greater Noida to Noida/Delhi will be completely closed in front of Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Service Road Sector 132. This traffic will pass inside Sector 132 towards the destination from Pusta Road.

Other traffic diversions (from 7 am to normal)

1- Traffic going from Eldico Chowk to Sector 108 from NSEZ will be diverted from Aldico Chowk towards Panchsheel Underpass and sent towards the destination.

2- Traffic going from Sector 92 Chowk towards Shramik Kunj coming from NSE Z, Sector 83 will be diverted from Aldico Chowk towards Panchsheel Underpass and sent to the destination.

3- Traffic coming from Sector 105 towards Shramik Kunj Sector 93 Chowk to Sector 92 will be diverted from Sector 108 Chowk towards Gejha Tiraha and sent to the destination.

4- Traffic going from Hajipur, Sector 105, 108 to Eldico Chowk towards Sector 83, NSEZ Phase-2 will be diverted from Sector 105 and Sector 108 Chowk to Gejha Tiraha towards the destination.

5- Traffic going from Sector 82, Shramik Kanj to Sector 132 using Faridabad flyover will be diverted from Sector 108 U-turn to Sector 108, 105 and sent to the destination.

6- Traffic coming from Sector 132 towards Sector 82 using Faridabad flyover will be diverted towards Sector 128 before the flyover and sent to the destination.

7- Emergency vehicles, ambulances etc. will be passed safely from all diversion points.

The Twin Tower located in Sector-93A of Noida will be demolished today. This tower will be demolished at 2:30 pm today on the orders of the Supreme Court. All preparations for the demolition of Supertech Twin Towers have been completed. It will take only 9 seconds to break both the buildings built in 13 years. A company named Edifice has got the responsibility of demolishing the twin towers. This work is being done under the supervision of Project Manager Mayur Mehta.

According to project manager Mayur Mehta, waterfall technology will be used to demolish the tower. This is a kind of wave effect, like the waves of the ocean move. The blasting will start from the basement and end on the 30th floor. This is called Ignite of Explosion.

10 big things about twin tower blast

1- After the order of the Supreme Court, today at 2:30 pm, the twin tower of Noida will be demolished. It will take 9 seconds to fall. The Cyan Tower will fall first, after that the Apex Tower will also be grounded. Preparations were being made for 181 days to bring it down.

2- An exclusion zone of 250 meters near the twin tower and at some places even more distance has been created. There will be only 6 people in it. People living in adjoining societies are not allowed on their terraces and balconies during the demolition of the tower.

3- Indian blaster Chetan Dutta told that only 6 people will remain at a distance of 100 meters from the tower. There will be 3 foreign experts, 2 project managers and a senior police officer. We will see in the connectivity meter, red light will flash means all connectivity is fine.

4- Wherever the gunpowder has been installed in the twin towers, geotextile cloth has been installed. It consists of fiber composite. If something hits it, it does not tear the cloth, but reverses.

5- Clothes have also been put on the surrounding building for security. According to project manager Mayur Mehta, the tremor will not feel even equal to a mild earthquake. People have been instructed to remove the plug from the TV and keep the glassware inside.

6- Glass items may break during an explosion due to air pressure. There will be dust from the blast, but how much, it cannot be estimated.

7- From February 21, 350 workers and 10 engineers were engaged in this work to demolish the twin towers of Noida. All the 1396 flats in the surrounding 500 meters have been evacuated.

8- The 10 km area above the twin tower has been made a no-fly zone. Traffic on the surrounding roads will remain closed. The countdown will start at 2 pm. At 2.30 am both the towers will turn into rubble at the press of a remote button.

9- About 3700 kg of explosives will be used to bring down the twin towers in Noida. A large number of police personnel have been deployed. Will be stationed around the tower by making a circle of about 1 km.

10- The team of Health Department will also be present on the spot on the day of the blast of Twin Tower located in Noida. An ambulance has been arranged. Safe houses have been built in many big hospitals of the city. These safe houses have been set up in Jaypee Hospital, Reality Hospital and District Hospital.
