HMD Global launched the Nokia 4.2 (Review) in India earlier this month and the company is now ready to bring its next affordable smartphone to the country. On Monday, the company posted a teaser on Twitter suggesting the India launch of the Nokia 3.2. The Nokia 3.2 was launched alongside the Nokia 4.2, Nokia 9 PureView and Nokia 1 Plus at MWC 2019 in February.

The teaser on Twitter suggests an upcoming phone with a long-lasting battery as the battery symbol would have you believe. More importantly, the teaser is accompanied with the hashtag #ViewMoreDoMore, which is the tagline for the Nokia 3.2. The Nokia 3.2 slots below the Nokia 4.2 in terms of hierarchy, so you can expect a price tag well under Rs 10,000.

The Nokia 3.2 was announced with a price of USD 139, which is approximately Rs 9,600. You can expect the company to price the Nokia 3.2 a little more aggressively in India given the competition from the likes of Xiaomi and Realme in the budget segment.

The Nokia 3.2 shares a lot of similarities with the Nokia 4.2 such as a waterdrop display, LED notification power button and Google Assistant button. It is a bigger phone, however, with a taller 6.2-inch HD+ LCD display and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The Nokia 3.2 gets a plastic unibody panel on the back along with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and single camera with LED flash.

The breathing light LED notification light is embedded in the power button, making it easier to be aware of a new notification whether you place the device face down or on its back. The dedicated Google Assistant button will also allow users to quickly launch the Google AI with a single tap of the button.

The Nokia 3.2 is powered by a Snapdragon 429 chipset paired with 2GB or 3GB of RAM. It also comes with 16GB or 32GB of internal storage depending on the RAM variant, both of which are expandable up to 400GB via a dedicated microSD card. The handset measures 159.44 x 76.24 x 8.60 mm and weighs 181 grams.

A major highlight of the Nokia 3.2 is that it houses a large 4,000mAh battery that promises to deliver 2 days of battery life on a single charge. The handset sports a 13-megapixel f/2.2 main camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie camera with support for face unlock. The Android One device runs on stock Android Pie and offers connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm heapdhone jack and OTG among other things.
