Technical | Finnish company Nokia is soon going to launch its new 5G phone Nokia G60 5G in the Indian market. Brand licensee HMD Global has confirmed that the pre-orders of this smartphone will start in India soon. The new smartphone has been listed on the company's India website in two color options with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and will go on sale soon.

The Nokia G60 5G from HMD Global was unveiled at the IFA 2022 event in Berlin in September. The listing of the device has confirmed that this phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset and 4,500mAh battery in addition to 120Hz refresh rate display. Apart from the waterdrop style notch, a triple camera setup with 50MP primary sensor will be seen on the rear panel of the phone.

Nokia has confirmed in a tweet that the pre-bookings of the Nokia G60 will start soon. The company has told that many India exclusive offers will also be available on this phone. However, nothing has been said on the price of this device in the Indian market yet. With Black and Ice color options, it has been launched in the global market at a price of 349 Euro (about Rs 28,000). In India too, its price can be close to Rs 25,000.

Talking about the specifications, the Nokia G60 5G sports a 6.58-inch display with Full HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display with a peak brightness of 500nits comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The 5G phone has Snapdragon 695 5G chipset with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Talking about the camera setup, apart from the 50MP primary camera on the rear panel, the phone has a 5MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, this phone has an 8MP front camera. The device's massive 4,500mAh is also supported by fast charging. Side mounted fingerprint sensor is available in the device for authentication.
