T20 World Cup 2022: The Indian cricket team suffered an embarrassing 10-wicket defeat against England in the semi-final match of the T20 World Cup 2022. With this defeat, Team India is being criticized all over the world. Cricket fans are giving all kinds of reactions, while some big veteran cricketers also vented their anger. Meanwhile, former Team India cricketer Anil Kumble has also given a big opinion to BCCI after India's defeat.

Kumble's big statement

Former India captain Anil Kumble wants the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to allow young players to participate in various T20 leagues across the world to gain experience ahead of the 2024 T20 World Cup to be held in the West Indies and the US. Since the introduction of the IPL in 2008, many countries have started their own domestic T20 leagues, including tournaments such as Australia's Big Bash League (BBL), Pakistan Premier League (PSL), Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

Not allowed to play in foreign leagues

Players from all over the world are allowed to participate in IPL but BCCI does not allow any active Indian cricketer to participate in these foreign leagues. Kumble told ESPNcricinfo, "I think the exposure (experience playing in the conditions there) definitely helps. We have seen it helping in the growth of Indian cricket. The arrival of foreign players in the IPL has definitely helped Indian cricket."

He said, "If sending a young player abroad improves his game, then we should do that." This former coach of the Indian team said, "I think it is important that you have that. Everything should be there that you will need in the 2024 World Cup. You have to be well prepared for the World Cup."

In this World Cup, there were many players in the Indian team who did not have the experience of playing in Australia, on the other hand, the players of England have the experience of playing in the BBL. It also includes captain Jos Buttler and his opening partner Alex Hales.
