Coronavirus | In Mayurbhanj district of Odisha, two doses of corona vaccine were given to a person at an interval of 30 minutes. On Saturday, Prasanna Kumar Sahu, a resident of Raghupur village, went to a nearby temporary vaccination camp to get the vaccine after booking online. After getting the vaccine, he sat at the vaccination center for half an hour. In the meantime, the nurse accidentally vaccinated him once again. Sahu said that I was about to tell the nurse that I have been vaccinated, by then he once again vaccinated me.Confirming the incident, Vaccination Center supervisor Rajendra Bahera said that Sahu was kept under observation for two hours after two vaccines were administered at an interval of half an hour. During this he was given OAS. He said that Prasanna Sahu was sitting there even after getting the vaccine, while he had to go to the observation center. Due to this, once again the nurse accidentally vaccinated him. Bahera said that Sahu was given the second dose of the vaccine by mistake. At present, no adverse effect has been seen on Prasanna Sahu's health.Health Officer Dr. Sipun Panda said that he has received information about the matter and an inquiry committee has been constituted. After investigation, disciplinary action will be taken against the person responsible. Dr. Panda said that at present, no adverse effect has been seen due to two vaccines being administered on Sahu's body within half an hour. His condition is stable. Let us tell you that even before this, there have been many such cases in the country, when a person was given two different doses of corona vaccine. However, even in such cases no adverse effect was observed.
