One soldier has been martyred and four soldiers have been injured in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. According to news agency ANI, the encounter is taking place in Sunjwan area of ​​Jammu. Jammu Zone ADGP Mukesh Singh said that a total of two terrorists were killed in the encounter. He said that we have cordoned off the area. The encounter continues. It seems that terrorists are hiding in the house.

Five suspects caught with IB amid alert

Two days ago, security forces have caught five suspects from Hiranagar sector on the India-Pakistan International Border (IB). After interrogation, two of these people have been sent to Jammu. Police raided the villages adjacent to the border in the early hours of Wednesday and caught the suspects with bags and documents.

It is being told that just before the visit of the Prime Minister in Palli village of Vijaypur, the wires of the suspects caught by the security agencies are related to anti-national activities. The names of both have been included in the FIR registered under anti-national activities in the tunnel case found at Border Out Post Pansar on 23 January 2021. Investigation has been started by registering a case under FIR No. 8/2021 under sections 120B, 122,121A and 16/18/38 ULA(P) of IPC.

There were also continuous inputs of suspicious movement of some people in the areas adjacent to the International Border, after which the police, CRPF and SOG launched a search operation in Lachhipur, Gyal Bund, Maheshe Chak, Mandala villages adjacent to the IB.

During the raid, five people were caught in suspicious movement, out of which three were released after questioning while two were sent to Jammu for investigation. On Thursday morning, both were brought back to the Rajbagh police station, after which the investigation has been started by registering an FIR against them in half a dozen cases including sedition.

Confirming this, a senior official associated with the case said that at present, the investigation of the matter is going on in depth. Sources said that mobile phones have been recovered from both, which are ready to be investigated by FSL. This mobile phone can make many revelations about the network of both.
