Pakistan defeated Australia by six wickets in the second match of the three-match series. With this win, they have brought the series to a 1-1 draw. Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Thursday (March 31). Australia scored 348 for eight in 50 overs. In reply, Pakistan team won the match by scoring 352 runs for four wickets in 49 overs.

Pakistan made the biggest run chase in their ODI history. Earlier, he had achieved the target of 327 runs in 2014 against Bangladesh in 2014. The Pakistani team managed to win against Australia for the first time since January 2017. In these five years, he had to face defeat in 10 consecutive ODI matches.

Captain Babar Azam scored 114 runs in 83 balls in the match for Pakistan. At the same time, Imam-ul-Haq scored 106 runs in 97 balls. On the other hand, Ben McDermott scored 104 for Australia while scoring his maiden century. The third and final match of the series between the two teams will be played on this ground on Saturday (April 2). Australia won the first match by 88 runs.

Talking about Australia's innings, captain Aaron Finch was dismissed for zero. McDermott then put on a 162-run partnership for the second wicket with Travis Head. Head scored 89 runs off 70 balls. Marnus Labuschagne scored 59 off 49 balls, Marcus Stoinis scored 49 off 33 balls and Sean Abbott scored 28 off 16 balls. For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi took four and Mohammad Wasim Jr took two wickets.

At the same time, Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq shared 118 runs for the first wicket for Pakistan. Fakhar scored 67 runs in 64 balls. Imam and Babar put on 111 runs for the second wicket. After Imam's dismissal, Babar added 80 runs for the third wicket with Mohammad Rizwan. Rizwan scored 23 runs off 26 balls. Khushdil Shah made 27 off 17 balls and Iftikhar Ahmed scored 11 runs in seven balls to give victory to the team. Adam Zampa took two wickets for Australia.
