The Prime Minister's Office said on Friday that 'in the meeting, it was decided to start a comprehensive campaign with the support of the entire country and the government, which will rid the country of the problem of terrorism with renewed vigor and determination.

There was talk of threats to Pakistan in the meeting, pointing to Afghanistan

According to an official statement, the NSC also discussed threats from insurgent groups, especially those linked to the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan. It said that 'the danger of these terrorists has increased. Discussed in detail the threats posed especially by those associated with the banned organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. Pakistan is getting affected due to the support given by various terrorist organizations which are present in large numbers in Afghanistan.

China told Pakistan to curb terrorism in SCO summit

FATF gray list for 4 years due to terror funding

There was always the fear of Pakistan being blacklisted for spreading terrorism. At the same time, Pakistan was included in the gray list in June 2018. He was accused of money laundering, terror funding and making weak laws. FATF had said that the global financial system could be in danger because of Pakistan. After this, he was included in the gray list for 4 years. He was able to come out of the gray list in October 20022. If the name of a country comes in the gray list, then it faces business problems at the international level. Pakistan has been struggling with this problem for a long time. When Pakistan is in a pauper's condition, it does not want its name to be included in FATF's gray list again.
