Pakistani team reached India

The Pakistani team was warmly welcomed in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, many Pakistani fans and even Indian fans were desperate to get a glimpse of Babar Azam and Company. From getting off the bus to going to the hotel, a crowd gathered to see the Pakistani players. Policemen were also seen taking selfies.

Came to India after 7 years

Pakistan last toured India in the T20 World Cup 2016. Now after seven years the Pakistani team has again come to Indian soil. The last bilateral series between the two countries was played in 2012. After the terrorist attack in Mumbai in 2008, political relations between the two countries deteriorated, which also affected cricket. Now Indian and Pakistani teams are seen clashing only in ICC tournaments and Asia Cup.

Won ODI World Cup only once

Till now, Pakistan had won the ODI World Cup title only once in 1992. In the year 1999, the team reached the finals, but could not win the title. In the ODI World Cup 2023, Pakistan has to play a practice match against New Zealand on 29 September. After this, Pakistan team will also play a practice match against Australia. Mohammad Nawaz is the only player in the team that came to India for the ODI World Cup, who has come to India before.
