He was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital after his condition deteriorated, while however, he was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday morning. His family informed that Dharmendra's treatment would continue at home. Prem Chopra, who is 90 years old, was born on September 23, 1935, in Lahore, Pakistan. Following the partition of India, his family relocated and settled in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Prem Chopra completed his education at Punjab University. His father had aspirations for him to become a doctor, but during his studies, Prem developed a keen interest in theatre. He actively participated in plays, which drew him towards the world of acting, while driven by this passion, he later moved to Mumbai and embarked on his journey in Bollywood, where he carved out a unique identity for himself.
