This decision has been taken by the company after the increase in the traffic of the airline. Earlier, the airline had also made a huge cut in the salary of the employees during the Corona period.

The order came into effect from August 1

According to the report of Business Standard, this order to increase the salary issued by the company will come into effect from August 1, 2022. In the email sent by the company to its employees, it has been told that now the overtime allowance given to the pilots has also been resumed. Since July, the company has set a target of more than 1500 flights daily, as well as it uses its planes for 13 hours. Along with this, a card has also been issued for the purpose of cheap traveler for the employees.

In the year 2020, during the Corona period, the company had cut the salary of the pilot by 29 percent. After this, some improvements were also made in it in April. Now the company has given a gift to its employees by increasing the salary by 8 percent because now the flights are running regularly and the effect of Corona has also reduced. The pilots were already angry with the company due to the deduction of salary and it became a problem for the biggest airline company.

Company flights were delayed

Last week itself, a large number of employees went on medical leave, after which 55 percent of IndiGo's domestic flights were delayed. Then it came out that the pilots of the company had taken leave in the name of illness to join the recruitment campaign of Air India. Air India had organized the second phase of recruitment in its company, most of the crew members of Indigo who had taken medical leave had gone to participate in this.
