PM Modi Karnataka Election: The ruling BJP in Karnataka is making every effort to return to power by taking advantage of the 'Modi wave' in the state. According to party sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit the election state of Karnataka three times this month (March). PM Modi has made five visits to Karnataka this year and participated in various programs including roadshows and public rallies. He has also toured different parts of the state covering all areas.

During his visits, he targeted the Congress and the JD(S), besides criticizing family politics. When PM Modi reminded people in Belagavi how the Congress had insulted veteran leaders of the state including AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge.

PM Modi will visit the state thrice

Sources told that before the announcement of elections in Karnataka, PM Modi will visit the state thrice. While the PMO has confirmed two visits, it is yet to approve the third. PM Modi is expected to inaugurate the Bengaluru-Mysore highway on 12 March. Earlier, he also had a program to visit Mandya. But it has been temporarily posted on 16 March.

The BJP also plans to hold a two kilometer road show on the inauguration of the Bengaluru-Mysore Expressway. Whose clearance is still pending. On March 25, the Prime Minister will participate in the concluding ceremony of the Vijay Sankalp Yatra in Davangere city. Based on the announcement of the Model Code of Conduct, the party is considering organizing the program on March 28.

The party is also planning to include Prime Minister Modi for the inauguration of development works in Anjanadri Hills, which is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. The Congress has had sleepless nights after the election campaign by PM Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the state. In view of his frequent visits to the state, Congress leaders dubbed him a poll agent.
