PM Modi Japan-China Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on an important foreign tour from 29 August to 1 September 2025, in which he will visit Japan and China. The aim of this visit is to strengthen India's diplomatic and strategic partnerships, which will further strengthen India's position at the global and regional level.Japan Visit: India-Japan Special Strategic Partnership to New HeightsOn 29-30 August 2025, Prime Minister Modi will visit Japan to attend the 15th India-Japan Annual Summit at the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba. This will be his 8th visit to Japan and the first summit meeting with Prime Minister Ishiba. During this, the two leaders will review the special strategic and global partnership between India and Japan. Key issues of discussion will include:
- Defense and Security: Emphasis on further strengthening defense cooperation between the two countries.
- Trade and Economy: To promote bilateral trade and seek new investment opportunities.
- Technology and Innovation: Cooperation in areas such as artificial intelligence, renewable energy and digital technology.
- Regional and global issues: Discussions on stability in the Indo-Pacific region and global challenges such as climate change.
