In a recent survey, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been described as the 8th most admired personality in the world. Data analytics company YouGoV has released the list of 20 most admired personalities in the world from this survey. PM Modi is the most admired Indian on this list and is ahead of cricketer Virat Kohli apart from Bollywood stars like Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan. This list has been made after taking feedback from 42,000 people from 38 countries.Apart from PM Modi, other Indians who have been placed in this list also include Sachin Tendulkar. Priyanka Chopra, Aishwarya Rai and Sudha Murthy are among the most admired women of 2021. The company said of the survey, "During the spring of this year, YouGov collected nominations from panelists from 38 countries and territories, asking them simple questions: "Thinking about the people alive in the world today, which [male or woman] you admire the most? From these nominations, a list of 20 men and 20 women was then prepared with the highest number of nominations and nominations from at least four countries.Former US President Barack Obama is at number one in the list of 20 most admired men in the world, followed by Microsoft founder Bill Gates at number two. Chinese President Xi Jinping is third, footballer Cristiano Ronaldo fourth, actor Jackie Chan fifth and Elon Mask sixth. Lionel Messi has been placed in seventh place, while PM Narendra Modi is in eighth place. Modi is followed by Vladimir Putin, Jack Mai, Warren Buffett, Sachin Tendulkar, Donald Trump, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Pope Francis, Imran Khan, Virat Kohli, Andy Lau and Joe Biden.
