LTTE threatens Sri Lanka again

The threat of an attack by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) is looming large on Sri Lanka. Recently, Indian intelligence agencies have given inputs to the Defense Ministry of Sri Lanka regarding this. According to Indian input, LTTE can carry out some major incident on 18 May.

Sri Lanka has also tightened its security after receiving intelligence inputs from India. Sri Lanka says that it will also investigate in this matter.

The opposition said - the current situation of the country is like 1991 India

Sri Lanka's opposition MP Harsha da Silva has described the current situation in the country as similar to the 1991 economic crisis in India. He said that Sri Lanka will be able to come out of this crisis and this will happen only when the political parties here stand together.

He said- Indian political parties were united at that time, due to which they came out of the crisis. The same will happen in Sri Lanka only when the political parties here stand together. If the parties split, the plan fails. The President here has to prepare the political parties to come together.
