Varanasi: Fake Covid Vaccine and Testing Kits have been recovered in huge quantity in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. These fake corona vaccines and fake testing kits were to be supplied in many states. Fortunately, the police busted the gang manufacturing and supplying fake vaccines even before they were supplied.

Fake corona vaccine was being made here

The police had received input that a fake vaccine was being made in Rohit Nagar, Varanasi. After which the police reached the spot and recovered fake Kovidshield vaccine, fake ZyCoV-D vaccine and fake Kovid testing kit on a large scale.

Police arrested 5 accused

Let us inform that the police have arrested Rakesh Thawani, Sandeep Sharma, Lakshya Jawa, Shamsher and Arunesh Vishwakarma in connection with the manufacture and supply of fake corona vaccine. The accused are being questioned by the police. Strict action is being taken against the accused.

This thing came to the fore in the interrogation of the police

On interrogation, Rakesh Thawani told that he used to make fake vaccines and testing kits along with Sandeep Sharma, Arunesh Vishwakarma and Shamsher. Then fake vaccines and kits were sent to Target Java, which supplied through its network to different states.

Police action against gang

The police officer said that the accused are being questioned. Legal action is being taken against them by collecting information about their gang. The market value of the recovered drugs is around Rs 4 crore.
