In fact, Raj Thackeray had warned the government that if the loudspeakers were not removed from the mosques by May 4, then his workers would play Hanuman Chalisa in a loud voice with azaan.


MNS workers played Hanuman Chalisa

Hanuman Chalisa was played near a mosque in Mumbai's Charkop area on Wednesday following a loudspeaker controversy and Raj Thackeray's ultimatum. A video of this has also surfaced, in which the MNS worker was seen playing the Hanuman Chalisa on the loudspeaker holding the party's flag.


A letter was also issued by Raj Thackeray regarding this. In the letter, the MNS chief has urged people to play Hanuman Chalisa on loudspeakers wherever they hear "Azaan" on loudspeakers on Wednesday." He has also been asked to file a complaint. Raj Thackeray said, I appeal to all Hindus that on May 4, if you hear Ajan on loudspeakers, then play Hanuman Chalisa on loudspeakers at the same places. Only then will they realize the difficulties caused by these loudspeakers.


He said, I appeal to the CM of Maharashtra that years ago Shiv Sena chief Hindu Hriday Samrat Shri Balasaheb Thackeray had said that all loudspeakers need to be silenced. are you going to listen to it? Or which non-religious Sharad Pawar are you going to follow who has kept you in power.


Mumbai Police issues notice to Raj Thackeray

Mumbai Police on Tuesday evening issued notice to Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray under Section 149 of the CrPC dealing with prevention of cognizable offences. This information was given by an officer. An official of Shivaji Park police station said that the notice has been issued as a precautionary measure. He said that this step has been taken after Raj Thackeray issued an open letter. The official said that the police have issued precautionary notices under various sections of the CrPC (Code of Criminal Procedure) to over 300 people, including several MNS leaders from the central Mumbai region. Explain that notices are issued under section 149 of CrPC to prevent cognizable offences. Cognizable offenses are those in which the police can arrest someone without a warrant.


More than 7,000 policemen deployed in Nagpur city

Over 7,000 policemen have been deployed in Nagpur city amid loudspeaker controversy by MNS chief Raj Thackeray. Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar said that leaders of all communities have been talked to to maintain peace in the city. Anti-social elements are being monitored. Strict action will be taken against those who break the law. Quick Response Team (QRT) and Riot Control Police (RCP) are on high alert. A company of the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) will be deployed in sensitive areas. According to the police, notices have been issued to around 900 people under the provisions of CrPC. He said that 1,204 temples, 233 mosques and 400 Buddha Vihars are located in Nagpur city.
