Since then his body is still kept in the mortuary. Jaipal's family and his supporters are adamant about their demands. At the same time, Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal has given a call to mobilize crowd regarding this matter. A big meeting will be organized today to protest against the demand not being accepted. On the other hand, 79-year-old former BJP MLA Harish Kumawat has gone on a hunger strike. They have announced that they will not take food unless their demands are met.

The case of the murder of Jaipal Poonia, who was a history sheeter of Namak Karobari and Nawan police station, is continuously gaining momentum. The politics regarding this matter is also heating up continuously. After the murder of Jaipal, his wife has registered a case against eight people including Nava MLA and Chief Deputy Whip of Rajasthan Government Mahendra Chaudhary accusing him of conspiracy and murder.

Jaipal's family and supporters demand that the case be probed by the CBI. Government job should be given to the dependent of the deceased. A compensation of Rs 50 lakh should be given to the family of the deceased. The family and supporters are adamant on their demands. They say that they will not pick up the dead body until their demands are met. They have kept a dharna in Nawan for their demands. Due to this, the post-mortem of Jaipal's body could not be done even on the fourth day. Jaipal's body is kept in the mortuary of Government Hospital in Nawan City.
