The two leaders reflected the spirit of mutual friendship and cooperation at this welcome dinner held in Paris. During this dinner, Prime Minister Modi also met US Vice President JD Vance, who was present in France to attend the AI ​​Summit. Sharing information about this important meeting, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said that PM Modi held extensive discussions with President Macron and Vice President Vance in Paris.

Earlier, Prime Minister Modi arrived in Paris as part of the first leg of his two-nation tour. His visit will later extend to the US, where he will attend other high-level meetings.

AI Action Summit

During the three-day visit to France, Prime Minister Modi and President Macron will co-chair the AI ​​Action Summit. During this, he will hold bilateral talks and address global business leaders. This summit is being organized with the aim of promoting innovation and cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).

Prime Minister Modi and President Macron will hold high-level discussions on the India-France strategic partnership. Both leaders will further strengthen cooperation through restricted and delegation-level talks. While addressing the India-France CEO Forum, they will also discuss promoting bilateral trade and investment.

Prime Minister Modi had said in the context of his visit that this visit would be an important opportunity to review the progress of the 2047 roadmap of the India-France strategic partnership.

Visit to War Memorial and Inauguration of Consulate General

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Modi and President Macron will visit the Mazargues War Cemetery in Marseille to pay tribute to the sacrifices of Indian soldiers in World War I. They will also inaugurate India's latest Consulate General in Marseille.

According to officials, this is Prime Minister Modi's sixth visit to France and it will prove to be an important step towards taking India-France relations to new heights.
