India-Australia Relations: PM Modi recently raised the issue of attacks on temples in Australia with the Australian PM. Let us tell you that the Prime Minister held talks on various issues with the Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese.

PM Modi said, 'It is a matter of regret that for the last few weeks, news of attacks on temples in Australia is coming regularly. It is natural that such news worries all the people in India, disturbs our mind.

The Prime Minister said, 'I put these feelings and concerns of ours in front of Prime Minister Albanese. And they have assured me that the safety of the Indian community is a special priority for them. Our teams will be in regular touch on this subject, and will cooperate as much as possible.

According to PTI language, four incidents of attack on the temple have come to the fore in the last two months.

Temple attacked on March 4 in Brisbane

Khalistan supporters vandalized a major Hindu temple in Brisbane, Australia on March 4. This incident took place at the Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple in Brisbane. According to PTI, Sara Gates, director of Hindu Human Rights, said that the latest vandalism is an attempt to terrorize Australian Hindus.

Gates said, 'This latest incident is a pattern of 'Sikh for Justice' globally, which is clearly an attempt to terrorize Australian Hindus. This organization (pro-Khalistani) is involved in propaganda, cyber bullying as well as intimidation.

Similar incidents happened in Melbourne, Carrom Downs

According to PTI, earlier on January 23, 'Hindustan Murdabad' was written on the walls of the iconic ISKCON temple in Melbourne's Albert Park.

On January 16, the historic Shri Shiv Vishnu Temple at Carrom Downs in Victoria was vandalized in a similar manner.

On January 12, Melbourne's Swaminarayan Temple was defaced by 'anti-social elements' with anti-India slogans.
