PSEB 10th Result: Punjab Board (PSEB) has declared the matriculation result on Tuesday, July 5. Around 3.25 lakh students appeared for the class 10 board exams this year. Students will be able to check their results on July 6 at 10 am on the official website pseb.ac.in. The pass percentage of students this year is 97.94 percent.

Girls in top 3 rank

Girls have won the top 3 ranks. This year's Punjab Board topper is Nancy Rani of Ferozepur. The first and second rank holders have secured equal marks. However, Nancy is given the top rank according to the tie-breaker formula due to her smallness.

PSEB followed CBSE

PSEB this year has divided the academic year into two phases following the exam pattern of CBSE. The second session exam started on 24 April with Punjabi language test and concluded on 19 May with physical education paper. The exam was conducted in offline mode after a gap of two years.

Exam was canceled in 2021

In 2021, PSEB canceled the board exams due to increase in the cases of COVID and the result was prepared on the basis of Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE). The board had recorded an overall pass percentage of 99.93 percent. Last year, out of a total of 3,21,384 students, 3,21,163 had passed class 10th.

12th board exam results declared on June 28

Meanwhile, PSEB declared the 12th board exam results on June 28. A total of 3,01,700 students appeared for the class 12 exam, out of which 2,92,530 passed. The overall pass percentage was 96.96 percent. Pathankot emerged as the best performing district. This year all the top three positions have been won by girls.
