Adipurush | Controversy continues over the Adi Purush. Ever since the teaser came out, there has been a ruckus about the look of the characters. The actors of Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana have also started reacting to this. Sunil Lahiri, who became Laxman in the serial, said that the way VFX has been used in Aadipurush, it is difficult for him to digest. In his latest interview, Sunil says that there was no cartoonish effect or joke in the Ramayana serial. People nowadays do not want to leave the impact of their work.

'Cartoon-like effect'

In fact, VFX is the most fun in Aadipurush. After the teaser came out, users on social media started calling it a cartoon film. Talking to DNA, Sunil says, “Definitely it (VFX) is difficult to digest. See, at that time (during Ramayana) we were new in technology. We put all our efforts and try to give our best. This is the reason why people appreciate it even after 35 years.

'History like Ramayana is difficult to repeat'

“The younger generation does not feel that the show had a cartoonish effect or was ridiculed. Had this kind of technology been there... then Sagar sahib may have made something else, and would have made it better. I am sure even though there is VFX, it will be difficult to replicate what Sagar sahab has achieved. Earlier all manual work was done, today it is all presets. Even though we used to use blue and green screens, we looked at every detail and we worked just as hard. It took us 4 days to shoot the sequence in which Hanuman ji carried Ram and Laxman on his shoulder. Such was the detailing.
