The Hijab controversy has now reached the Supreme Court. However, on Thursday, the Supreme Court refused urgent hearing on the petition, which has urged the Karnataka High Court to transfer the petitions related to the case to the Supreme Court.

Lawyer and Congress leader Kapil Sibal argued in the Supreme Court regarding the hijab controversy and demanded an immediate hearing. He said that after two months there are examinations. Girls are being stopped from coming to school. Stones are being thrown at them.

On this, Chief Justice NV Raman said that a three-judge bench of the High Court is hearing the matter. Maybe he can give you some relief. Let them listen first. The top court said that the High Court is hearing the matter today, why should it interfere at this time? The Supreme Court also refused to give a date for hearing on the petition. When Sibal insisted that the case be listed in the Supreme Court, CJI Raman said that we will see.

A bench of three judges will hear today in the High Court

On the other hand, a three-judge bench will hear the matter in the Karnataka High Court today. On Wednesday, a single bench of the High Court referred the matter to a larger bench. With this, all eyes are now on the hearing to be held in the Karnataka High Court today. Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court Ritu Raj Awasthi on Wednesday constituted a three-judge bench to hear the hijab case. Apart from him, Justice Krishna S. Dixit and Justice Zebunnisa M. Kazi. After hearing the matter on Wednesday, Justice Dixit referred the matter to Chief Justice Awasthi, so that the larger bench could consider it.
