Accident In Panipat / Roadways bus crushed the bike rider, the family created a ruckus, the accused driver absconded

A teenager riding a bike was crushed by a roadways bus driver near Sagar Dhaba on GT Road and fled from the spot. The accident happened around 10.30 am on Wednesday. Local people informed the police control room, as soon as the information was received, the police and family reached the spot.

The family started a ruckus. The Sadar police station in-charge pacified the relatives by assuring them of a fair investigation and took the dead body in possession and sent it for post-mortem.

Ramesh, resident of Mahmudpur village of Sadar police station area, told that his grandson Ajay (16) son late Jagdish had gone to drop his maternal grandmother Batto to Babarpur Mandi. He was returning home leaving his grandmother. When he reached Babarpur Mandi, a speeding roadways bus hit him from behind and fled from the spot.

As soon as the collision took place, Ajay fell on the road and was seriously injured. Local people informed the police control room, Sadar police station reached the spot as soon as the information was received. The local people took the injured to the General Hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead.

As soon as the news of the accident was received, a mountain of grief broke on the family. The family members reached the spot crying crying. Where he demonstrated fiercely against the Roadways Department. At the same time, some women also tried to commit suicide by coming in front of the vehicles running on GT Road, but the police who reached the spot saved them and pacified everyone by assuring them of a fair investigation and arresting the accused.

Ajay was the youngest of two sisters and brothers.

Dada Ramesh told that his son Jagdish had died due to illness about 10 years ago. Mother Jitto Devi is in bad condition.
