Actor Ronit Roy, who additionally runs a protection agency, has revealed how Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar never held back on bills all through the pandemic. Ronit stated that even as others determined to stop the services, leaving his personnel in a lurch, the 3 actors transferred the money without even asking for bills.

Speaking to radio host Siddharth Kannan, Ronit stated that ‘it’s a part of the business that people will forestall paying for services they do not want and he would not feel bad about it. However, he did reward actors and a filmmaker for helping him.

“So, Mr Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar. They never even called me. Actually, I was in doubt that all of this is shut, all the boys are at home. Their office called me that we have done the transfer, but send us the bills when things open again. I didn't ask them to do it, but they did it. My wife and I had a conversation… At that time we did not know how long it will go on…I asked her what do we do? We decided that because I had 100-something employees on my payroll--someone's mother was ill, someone's father was ailing, someone's wife was pregnant, someone had a baby a month ago and another person had to pay EMIs of their house-- that we will cross that bridge when we get to it. We need to sustain these people,” he said.

He stated he drew funds from the financial savings he had made over time, sold his equities and stocks for his personnel. He added that a few people even held back on paying him for the work he had already done. Meanwhile, a number of his buddies also examine the article about his economic situation and offered to help him out.
