RSS is a "strong advocate" of the reserve, the organization's secretary-general, Dattatreya Hosabale, said on Tuesday that it was a positive action to take and should exist as long as a particular sector of society experiences "inequality".  Hosabale stressed that without the history of the Dalits, India's history would be "incomplete" and said they were at the forefront of social change.

He spoke at an event organized by the India Foundation for the publication of a book entitled "Creators of Modern Dalit History".  “The history of India is no different from the history of the Dalits. Without its history, the history of India is incomplete, "said Hosabale. Regarding the reserve, Hosabale said categorically that he and his organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh" are strong supporters of the reserve. "

He also said," Social harmony and social justice are not political strategies for us and both are articles of faith for us. "Hosabale said that the reservation was a" historical necessity "for India:" It should go on as long as it does. There is inequality experienced by an individual "

Describing the reserve as an instrument for" affirmative action, "Hosabale said that reserve and reconciliation (between all sectors of society) must go hand in hand. He also said it was unfair to qualify the personalities who, as 'Dalit leaders', led the social change in society, since they were leaders of the whole of society.  "When we discussed the different aspects of the SC and ST of society, certain aspects always came up in the foreground, such as reluctance.

My organization and I have been strong supporters of reservations for decades. When there were protests against the reserve in many locations, we passed a resolution and organized a seminar in Patna in support of the reserve, ”said Hosabale.
