New Delhi : Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik, who surrounds NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede with different allegations every day in the Aryan Khan case, is now seen to be caught in a legal battle. NCB officer Sameer Wankhede's father Dhyandev K Wankhede has filed a complaint against Nawab Malik under AC-ST Act and demanded registration of FIR. According to news agency ANI, Dhyandev K Wankhede, father of NCB officer Sameer Wankhede, approached the Oshiwara Assistant Commissioner of Police (Assistant Police Commissioner) against Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik for allegedly under the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Court seeks reply from Nawab Malik on defamation suit

The Bombay High Court on Monday directed Maharashtra minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik to file an affidavit in response to a defamation suit filed by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Mumbai regional unit director Sameer Wankhede's father Dhyandev Wankhede. Justice Jamdar said, "You (Malik) file your reply by tomorrow. If you can reply on Twitter, you can reply here too. He gave this direction without issuing an order restraining Malik from making any further statement against the plaintiff (Dhyandev Wankhede).

Advocate Arshad Shaikh, appearing for Dhyandev, told the court that the respondent (by Malik) is giving some false and defamatory statement every day, which is then commented on social media which is even more derogatory. Sheikh argued, “This morning, the respondent made a tweet against the sister-in-law of Sameer Wankhede. ''

Through the suit, it has also been sought to direct Malik to withdraw all his defamatory statements so far and delete all his tweets posted against the plaintiff and his family members.

Notably, Sameer Wankhede had led the raid on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast last month. Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan and 19 others were later arrested in connection with the cruise drugs case. Malik has repeatedly made several serious allegations against the NCB officer, including claiming that the cruise drugs case is 'fake'.
