Delhi Politics: Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, who was in jail for several months in the Delhi liquor scam case, has come out of Tibhad jail after getting bail from the Supreme Court. According to the information, Sanjay Singh will come out of Tihar and go straight to CM Kejriwal's residence and meet his wife Sunita Kejriwal. A large number of Aam Aadmi Party workers are standing outside Tihar Jail to welcome Sanjay Singh. After being released from Tihar Jail, Sanjay Singh said that it is not time for celebration but for struggle.

Got bail from Supreme Court

Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh was granted bail by the Supreme Court on Tuesday. ED had arrested Sanjay Singh on 4 October 2023 after a long interrogation in the money laundering case related to Delhi liquor scam. On the ED charge sheet, Sanjay Singh was accused of taking donations worth Rs 82 lakh. Based on this, the ED team reached Sanjay Singh's house and after about 10 hours of interrogation, he was arrested.

Bail with conditions

After getting bail from the Supreme Court, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court has set the bail conditions for Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh. For bail, the bail bond has been filled by his wife on a personal bond of Rs 2 lakh. As per the conditions of bail, Sanjay Singh will cooperate in the investigation and provide his mobile number to the investigating officer.

Conditions imposed in Supreme Court also

The Supreme Court has also told Sanjay Singh that he will not make any comment regarding his role in the liquor scam case. Along with this, the trial court has also put a condition before Sanjay Singh that if he leaves Delhi NCR, he will share his travel itinerary with the IO. He will also keep his location sharing on and share it with IO.
