The player being mentioned is pacer Avesh Khan. Born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Avesh Khan made his debut for India only last year but could not retain his place in the team. He played 5 ODIs and 15 T20 Internationals. He was also a part of the team in the Asia Cup-2022, but then the selectors stopped paying attention to him.

26 year old Avesh Khan has now performed amazingly in Ranji Trophy. Playing for Madhya Pradesh, he took five wickets against Vidarbha in a Group D match and put his team in a strong position. Avesh took five wickets for 32 runs in 19 overs. Due to this, seven wickets of Vidarbha fell till the team score of 137. By the end of the second day's play, the team had scored 145 runs for 7 wickets and it is still 164 runs behind Madhya Pradesh on the basis of first innings. MP had scored 309 runs in the first innings.

Avesh Khan's performance for the Indian team was not good. He took only 3 wickets in 5 matches in ODI format. He took a total of 13 wickets in 15 T20 Internationals. His best performance in T20 is 4 for 18 which he took against South Africa at Rajkot in June-2022. He has 115 wickets in first class cricket before this match.
