Brij Bhushan Singh News: Former President of the Indian Wrestling Association and BJP MP from Kaisergunt, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has suffered a major setback in the case of alleged sexual harassment of women wrestlers. The court has rejected his petition, in which Brij Bhushan had demanded that a fresh investigation be conducted in the sexual exploitation case. He claimed that he was not in the country on the day of the incident. However, he got a shock from the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Priyanka Rajput of Rouse Avenue Court. Now the court will hear the case on May 7 to frame charges in the sexual abuse case.

Brijbhushan Sharan Singh appeared in the court through video conferencing. Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Priyanka Rajput of Rouse Avenue Court heard the application. The court asked the investigating officer of the case whether the CDR of the accused is a relied document or an unrelied document? The investigating officer said that it was unreliable. The court said that then why did you write in the charge sheet?

In fact, a complainant has alleged that she was sexually harassed at the Delhi office of WFI on the same day. Brij Bhushan's lawyer claimed that Delhi Police had relied on the call detail records of the coach who accompanied the complainant and said that they had gone to WFI on September 7, 2022, where the girl was allegedly sexually assaulted.

Brij Bhushan Singh's lawyer demanded an investigation regarding his presence at the WFI office on September 7, 2022. He gave a copy of Brijbhushan's passport in the court, which has the immigration stamp on it on that date. The lawyer of women wrestlers raised objection to this petition of Brij Bhushan in the court. He said that this petition has been filed to delay the case.

Demand to submit CDR report

The court said that a complainant had alleged that she was sexually harassed at the WFI Delhi office after returning from an international event. The prosecution has not submitted the copy of the CDR on that date. Raising this issue, Brij Bhushan's lawyer said that if the accused party has the CDR report then it should be given to him now.
