Jharkhand / Sit arrested two persons for killing bjp leader minor daughter she was allegedly insisting on marrying one

In Jharkhand's Palamu district, a sensation spread in the area after the body of a minor daughter of a BJP leader was found hanging from a tree. The family members had expressed the apprehension of murder after the rape. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has made a big disclosure on this matter. The team has arrested two accused. Police say that the girl was murdered because she was insisting on marrying an accused who is already married.

The body of a minor girl studying in class X was found hanging from a tree in Lalmati forest of Bandubar village under Panki police station area on Wednesday. The family members had accused him of murder after the rape. The girl's father Shyam Narayan Prajapati, who is a block level BJP leader, had lodged an FIR against seven people at the Panki police station in this regard.

This incident had heated up the political atmosphere in Palamu. BJP leaders had demanded immediate action against the culprits. Palamu SP Sanjeev Kumar said, “Two youths have been arrested in this case. One of the accused Pradeep Singh is already married, he had a love affair with the deceased. When the teenager started insisting on marriage with Pradeep, he along with his friend Sooraj Soni strangled him to death. To hide their crime, they hung the body from a tree.

Police said the girl had been missing since Monday and was murdered the same day. His body was found on Wednesday. The police have denied that the girl's eyes were burnt. The SP said, “Injuries have been found in his right eye, which may have been due to the scuffle before he died. His eye was swollen and worms were in it. The SIT has solved this matter within 48 hours. It was led by Leslieganj Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Alok Kumar Tuti.
