Political crisis continues in Pakistan. On the one hand, the new Prime Minister is to be announced today, and on the other hand, thousands of supporters of Imran Khan have come out on the road. There is tremendous demonstration going on in cities like Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Multan. People are raising slogans against the new government. During this, slogans of 'Chowkidar Chor Hai' were also heard from the crowd.

Actually, this demonstration is taking place when Imran Khan has been out of power after losing the no-confidence motion in Parliament and the name of Shahbaz Sharif is to be finalized as the new Prime Minister. For this, a session of the National Assembly has also been called at 2 pm today.

Slogans against the army

According to reports, slogans of 'Chowkidar Chor Hai' were raised in Pakistan against the army. During the demonstration, people addressed the army as chowkidar. After this, Sheikh Rashid, a former minister in the Imran government, was seen pacifying the people. He also appealed for peaceful protest and not to raise slogans against the army.

Imported government not approved

Imran Khan has already been seen alleging foreign conspiracy regarding the no-confidence motion. He has even directly targeted America. After this, when Imran supporters took to the road on Sunday, they had placards in their hands saying 'Imported government is not approved'. The crowd also raised slogans. At the same time, #ImportedGovernmentRejected appeared to be trending on Twitter on Sunday night. About 2.7 million tweets were made with this hashtag.

Qureshi PTI candidate against Shahbaz Sharif

The United Opposition in Pakistan has chosen Shahbaz Sharif as its leader. On Sunday, he also filed his nomination for the post of Prime Minister. On the other hand, Shah Mehmood Qureshi has been nominated by Imran Khan's party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. He has also filed his nomination. Floor test will be done in the Parliament of Pakistan at 2 pm regarding the new Prime Minister.
